The Web of Tomorrow

By Jason OConnor (c) 2007

A woman switches on a tiny wireless chip that has been surgically implanted behind her ear, which then synchs up with the Web wherever she is in the world. The simple thought of logging on to the Internet triggers the system to turn on and connect to the Web. She could be on a bus or at the beach and from all outward appearances she's just staring off into space. But she sees a three dimensional artificial world before her that she can manipulate any way she chooses by mere thought alone.

There are search engines known as pay per click directories which are gaining fast in popularity.

Under these schemes advertisers and webmasters wanting more traffic enter bids on keywords which might be used by surfers.

If the surfer clicks on the web link of the successfully listed advertisers link then the advertiser pays the amount they bid.

The pay per click schemes themselves require traffic in order to get the surfers to click the paid links in the first place so they offer various affiliate schemes.  Normally this involves giving a referrer a cut of the amount bid for the keyword which results in a click through.  Others offer a flat rate per click, and there are also schemes which pay commission when an advertiser pays to use the PPC service.

The PPC schemes listed below all have affiliate schemes which you can sign up to.  After registration simply place the supplied code on your pages and start earning from click throughs by the visitors to your pages.

Clickthrutraffic.com  This company pays you for traffic you send to their search pages - starting at 6c per click.  Not a massive amount in itself but as with all internet strategies the income you generate is only really limited by the amount of traffic you can generate.

ESpotting  Espotting is Europe’s #1 performance-based advertising medium, where you only pay for the highly targeted traffic you receive.
Very choosy about who they allow to be affiliates.

Expired Traffic uses link popularity to help you find, capture and profit from the daily search engine and link traffic a previously developed, yet currently expired, website may be getting.

Overture!  Overture puts Web sites where customers are looking-in the search results on leading sites like Yahoo!, Lycos and MSN-enabling sites to reach 80% of active Internet users. A cost effective way to drive targeted sales leads to your Web sites .

Payperclicksearchengines.com  Very useful site listing the current and major players in the pay per click sector including insights into the affiliate opportunities.

Search.co.uk  British search engine, quite new, but rapidly gaining in popularity.  Good search results for your visitors and reliable tracking system.
